Summer Intensive Audition Tour 2016
Students age 11-18 utilize the schedule below. If accepted, auditioners are placed into either the Junior Intensive or Senior Intensive based on their performance in the audition.
If you are under age 11 and are interested in attending the 2016 Junior Summer Intensive Program, please submit an audition DVD. Requirements are listed below.
If you are 19-22 and are interested in attending the 2016 Senior Summer Intensive Program, you may utilize the Company Audition schedule when it is announced in October, or you may attend one of the Summer Intensive audition locations when that schedule is announced in October. Participation in the Summer Intensive Program is required to be considered for acceptance into Ballet Austin II or into The Butler Fellowship Program.

Junior Summer Intensive Program Information
Senior Summer Intensive Program Information
If you are unable to audition for the Summer Intensive Program in person, you may audition by DVD. The DVD should consist of a sampling of barre work and center practice including adagio, pirouettes, petite and grand allegro and pointe work. Men should also include double tour en l'air and tours a la seconde. The length should be approximately 15 minutes. A full body photograph of you in dance attire, in any position, is also required along with the $35.00 application fee. All DVD auditions must be accompanied by the audition form below.
