Important Notice Regarding Ballet Austin's Policy on Cancellation:
Ballet Austin students come from school districts from all over Central Texas. Weather can vary greatly from one area to another, which might affect the ability of one student getting to class and not another. For that reason, Ballet Austin will not follow the school closing decision of any particular school district.

Whenever possible, announcements regarding delays or closings due to inclement weather will be posted on the Academy website. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will reflect the latest information: power failures or other unforeseen circumstances may make updating the website page impossible.

When possible, an email will be sent to currently enrolled Academy students with information about weather related class or rehearsal changes.

Weather updates will be available by calling 512.476.9051 ext. 126 (AFTER HOURS - or press 2 for Schools after calling the main line).

We recommend that you also tune in to one of the media outlets for additional weather-related announcements. You may also check local network television websites for posting of weather related changes.

If classes are not held due to inclement weather students may make up any of those classes during the remainder of the school year at any time that is convenient in the same level or a level lower.

If classes are not canceled, but threatening weather conditions in your area make it unsafe for you to drive to Ballet Austin, please use your discretion and stay home. You may make up any missed class during the remainder of the school year.
