The AustinVentures StudioTheater Project is a multi-pronged approach to contemporary dance showcasing internationally acclaimed acquisitions, the original work of Stephen Mills and newly commissioned work from outstanding choreographers. We will also present avant-garde works performed by international dance performance artists. The AustinVentures StudioTheater (AVST) is an innovative, 287-seat venue that explores the democratization of dance through its intimacy and accessibility within the urban environment.

The 2008/09 season introduces this new series March 26 - April 5, 2009 with Left Unsaid from internationally known choreographer Nicolo Fonte and a world premiere by Stephen Mills to the music of trip-hop artist, Tricky.
