Truth & Beauty/The Bach Project

For Valentine's Day weekend, we present a new contemporary evening-length from Stephen Mills. Utilizing music both composed and inspired by J.S. Bach, this world-premiere dance work includes a variety of movement styles and interactive media.

Truth & Beauty / The Bach Project will feature three sections: A solo section with Dr. Schumann on piano, a section featuring musicians from The Austin Chamber Music Center and a final section of new Bach-inspired music composed and performed by another ensemble, led by Reynolds.

Ballet Austin is pleased to offer a special VIP Package opportunity for the Friday and Saturday evening performances of Truth & Beauty/The Bach Project.

For $95 a person, in addition to Parterre seating at The Long Center’s Dell Hall, you’ll get:

• Admission to a special post-performance party in the Founder’s Club (located in the Kodosky Donor Lounge) with the Company dancers in attendance. For these 2 nights only, we’ll turn the lights down and the music up, and the party will go on until midnight! Complimentary wine, champagne, and passed sweet and savory bites included.
