PILATES GROUP STUDIO REFORMER CLASSES


GROUP reformer sessions are offered daily (see the group schedule below - online booking coming soon!)

Before booking a group reformer appointment, we ask that ALL clients who are new to the Pilates reformer complete at least one PRIVATE session as an evaluation, to understand the reformer, and to receive a recommendation for the type of reformer workout that will work best for you.

Pilates NEW CLIENT Introductory packages or a 30-minute private session are great ways to get started.

While Pilates private and duet appointments may be scheduled at most any time seven days a week, the group sessions below are an option to those with some reformer knowledge. Group Rates apply.

Group reformer sessions must be booked ahead of time to ensure space is available. Instructor subjecxt to change.

Pilates Studio Reformer & Apparatus Class Descriptions

Magic Circle Mat Class (40 min.)
The Magic Circle Mat uses the resistance ring throughout the exercises to challenge your strength and stability. The Magic Circle intensifies the effort and effectiveness of the workout by helping to hone your form and dig deeper into the Powerhouse!

Prenatal Appointments
Prenatal Pilates appointments are scheduled as either 30-minute or one-hour private appointments with a certified Pilates instructor. Sessions are designed to promote good posture and spinal alignment, easing the strain and tensions involved with a changing body during pregnancy. The instructor will teach the basic principles of Pilates with modifications to accommodate all stages of pregnancy and levels of fitness.

Studio Reformer Class (Limit of 8 people)
This dynamic class is what Pilates is all about! A wonderful way to supplement your private session workouts at group class rates.

Studio Cardio Reformer Class (Limit 8 people)
A dynamic class that combines the resistance training of the reformer with jumping and other cardio elements to give you a cardio and conditioning workout that you will love. Check the schedule above for Cardio Reformer times and call to reserve your space today!

Studio Cadillac Class (Limit 8 people)

This class helps with strength training by integrating your trunk, pelvis and shoulder girdle while emphasizing proper breathing. Correct alignment of your spinal cord and pelvis with the incorporation of smooth flowing movement allows you to access each part of your body.

Pilates Apparatus Descriptions

Cadillac
The Cadillac (also known as the Trapeze Table) is one of the most effective and versatile pieces of exercise equipment ever to be engineered. The Cadillac was originally devised by Joseph Pilates to rehabilitate bedridden patients back when he was working as a hospital orderly. The apparatus has evolved a bit since the makeshift bed spring days, but its inspiration is apparent and it continues to be a bridge between exercise and physical therapy.

Chair
Designed to strengthen muscle groups not easily reached by more traditional techniques and equipment, Chair workouts focus on upper and lower body strength and conditioning, and enhance stability, body control and balance. High Barrel
Combines ladder rungs with a barrel surface on which stretching, strengthening and flexibility exercises can be performed.

Wall Tower
Wall Tower is free-standing, giving you the flexibility of using it with a Reformer or a mat. Gives a three-in-one exercise system: Reformer, mat station, and Tower. A tremendous variety of exercises can be performed on this versatile fully-feature equipment.

Reformer
Studio Reformer is the traditional Pilates apparatus. For 30 years, the world's most respected Pilates instructors have used and recommended the Balanced Body Pilates Studio Reformer.
