Ballet Austin offers a 50-minute presentation on the history of ballet targeted at middle and high-school students. The performance utilizes dialogue and demonstration to trace the chronological evolution of classical ballet, from its earliest beginnings in the court dances of King Louis XIV through the athletic and powerful contemporary works of the 21st century.
