Butler Dance Education Center Blog

The weekly progress on the Butler Dance Education Center is staggering. Sheetrocking is continuing at a rapid pace, air conditioning units are going up all over, and the facing work on the northside entrance really adds a touch of “finish” to the whole site.

Here you see the northside facing work that has been installed. This shot gives you an idea of how this entryway for Academy students will shape up.

The Armstrong Connelly Studio for the apprentice company is starting to get more and more of a finished look as sheetrock is hung.

This is the hallway that overlooks the AustinVentures Studio Theatre.

This photo of pipes looks kind of plain—but it is of immense importance to the dancers who will soon be able to actually take a relaxing shower after a rehearsal!

An overhead shot of the AdlerLand Studio that will be surrounded by reviewing corridors above and will have viewing windows near the ground for the little ones.

Step by step, The AustinVentures Studio Theatre is nearing completion. This shot shows the northside. The seats will pull out from here.

Here is an updated shot of the BA Boardroom which will also be available for community groups. You can refer back to some of the previous posts to see the progress.
