Almost ready!

On Friday, some of the signs went up on the exterior of the Butler Dance Education Center. The neon letters are ready to be installed posthaste, as well. According to Superintendent Steve Frinz, all the upstairs studios are done. And there seemed to be three or four workers spreading paint on the walls, laying down floors or doing other finish-out tasks at every turn.

Steve Frinz wanted me to include this one. This is the roller, which was Bill Sheffield’s idea, for installing the floor in the Armstrong-Connelly Studio.

Here you see a miracle, as far as the female dancers are concerned. Each dancer will now have her own lockable vanity drawer for makeup, jewelry, and other small personal items.

And here are the lockers in the Linda Ball/Forrest Preece Women’s Dressing Room.

The upstairs studios are finished. Here you see the one which in the past has been used for Ballet Austin board meetings.
