When you witness vertical progress, that really makes an impression. Here you see the forms being put in place for the pour that will happen on Monday. Another seven to nine foot set will go on top of these before the pour. These walls will be the acoustical treatment/shell for the Austin Ventures Studio Theater.

By the middle of next week, things are really going to be looking different around the BDEC.

And the surrounding neighborhood is getting taller by the minute. If you’re in the area, you owe it to yourself to get out of your car and stroll around. There’s a feel of a big city environment that is taking shape here.
