When a child under the age of 12 subscribes to any Kids Series with an accompanying adult, each child receives the benefits of being a Ballet Austin Kids Corps member. We encourage you and your child to join us in exploring the world of dance through the eyes of the artists! Subscribe to the 2011/12 Season today!

Family Dance Workshops

Fun dance-inspired workshops for children and their families take place in the gorgeous studios of the Ballet Austin Butler Dance Education Center. Ballet Austin dancers perform excerpts from upcoming ballets, and participants work in age groups with dancers to create choreography. Up to three free workshops per Kids Corps member each season. Free Admission to Footlights for Kids

Before every matinee performance at The Long Center, bring your entire family to Footlights for Kids! This information-packed session blends our regular pre-show talk with activities and stories you won’t hear anywhere else. Audience members of all ages are welcome, but the focus is on the audience member under the age of 12! See the schedule!

Priority Delivery of the Kids Corps Chronicle

Throughout the season, Kids Corps members will receive a priority copy of the Kids Corps Chronicle before each Kids Series ballet. The Chronicle is full of information about the upcoming ballet, pictures and video excerpts, dance activities, cast lists, program notes, and more! See past chronicles!

Free Admission to Studio Spotlight

Up-close, personal, and informal, Studio Spotlight gives guests a behind-the-scenes look at choreography and elements from the upcoming production while it is still in the works. Ballet Austin dancers run through excerpts from the show while Artistic Director Stephen Mills and Associate Artistic Director Michelle Martin lead a brief lecture and Q&A.
