Membership Benefits

When a child under the age of 12 subscribes to any Kids Series or Family Series with an accompanying adult, each child receives the benefits of being a Ballet Austin Kids Corps member. We encourage you and your child to join us in exploring the world of dance through the eyes of the artists!

Family Dance Workshops

Fun dance-inspired workshops for children and their families take place in the gorgeous studios of the Ballet Austin Butler Dance Education Center. Ballet Austin Artistic and Education staff guide children through explorations of dance elements and choreography, and participants work in age groups with Ballet Austin dancers to create choreography.

Complimentary Admission to Footlights for Kids

Before every Sunday matinee performance at The Long Center, bring your entire family to Footlights for Kids! This information-packed session blends information from our regular pre-show talk with interactive questions and production stories you won’t hear anywhere else. Enjoy the last minute workings of dancers and production crew as you learn about the ballet. Audience members of all ages are welcome to attend, but the focus during this session is on the audience member under the age of 12!

Priority Delivery of the Kids Corps Chronicle

Throughout the season, Kids Corps members will receive a priority copy of the Kids Corps Chronicle before each Kids or Family Series ballet. The Chronicle is full of information about the upcoming ballet, pictures and video excerpts, dance activities, dancer and choreographer interviews, program notes, and more!
