W Austin, slated to open later this year, with developer Stratus Properties and the Canyon Johnson Urban Funds, today announced a collaborative sponsorship that will make Ballet Austin’s Fête10 the special event of the decade. As Title Sponsor of Fête10 presented by W Austin, the hotel will interject its unique style and contemporary elegance with Ballet Austin’s signature approach to innovation. The annual event has been recognized as the beginning of the Austin social season by The Wall Street Journal.
The $50,000 collaborative sponsorship is the first arts sponsorship for the eagerly awaited Austin destination hotel, which will boast 251 guestrooms—including one Extreme WOW Suite (W’s Presidential Suite), four WOW Suites and 27 W Suites—as well as more than 10,500 square feet of event space to accommodate a small gathering or a large group. Notably, the adjacent Austin City Limits venue, in addition to studio-audience tapings of the iconic television series, will also be available for other music and entertainment events accommodating up to 3000 guests as well as seated dinners on the main floor for up to 600, fashion shows, awards programs and other stylish soirees. W Austin is in the final stages of construction just one block from Ballet Austin’s Butler Dance Education Center in downtown Austin. read more
