AT THE BALLET | THE ACADEMY                            COMMUNITY SCHOOL | CONTRIBUTE | EDUCATION | ABOUT US | GALLERY

Through the generosity of Townsley Designs (who graciously donated the lounge furniture) and the imagination of our team, the Armstrong/Connelly Studio went through a metamophosis to become a visual showcase of projections, head bobbing music and contemporary décor.  With a cash bar open for every show and the windows peering over to the downtown sidewalk just outside the atmosphere throughout the space was more like a nightclub than a dance studio.  We could not have been more thrilled with how the final product turned out.  And judging from the feedback that we received, our guests enjoyed it even more than we did.

The run of The Studio Theater Project finished about a week ago and the space is now back to its original form holding Butler Community School and Academy classes. Though we will not have another Company production in the AustinVentures StudioTheater until March of next season we will anxiously be formulating ideas throughout the year to raise the bar (pun intended) for next spring’s show.
