In addition to our performance season at The Long Center, Ballet Austin offers numerous educational and community access programs each season.  While ticket sales cover about half of our expenses, your support allows us to continue these programs and to fulfill our mission of making our art form accessible to all members of our community. Thank you for your consideration of a gift to Ballet Austin!

In appreciation of your gift by July 31, receive an invitation to join us for a special reception following our Season Opener Studio Spotlight. Click here for more information about Studio Spotlight.

A note from one of the non-profit organizations served through our Night of Community Program – an opportunity for non-profit social service organizations to invite their clients to enjoy our final dress rehearsal performance free of charge. The program targets those in our community with significant financial challenges.

“Most of the families staying in our homeless shelter are struggling to get their basic needs met. For some of our clients, these Community Nights were their first exposure to professional dance productions. Thank you for thinking of our residents and making the arts accessible to all members of our community.”
- Child and Family Therapist, The Salvation Army

40 gifts of $25 give one organization the opportunity to bring their clients to Night of Community.

From a teacher whose students attended The Nutcracker School Shows

"I wanted to thank you for a wonderful presentation of The Nutcracker to our second graders. This opportunity has allowed them to be exposed to the arts and to the beginning of appreciation and value for them.”
- Round Rock ISD Second Grade Teachers

25 gifts of $50 allow one class to attend
The Nutcracker
School shows.

All gifts, no matter what level...are important.

“We began modestly with a $25 donation. With a matching gift, that donation became $50 (which we joked would probably pay for one pointe shoe!) Still, we knew that shoe was important and that the gift made a difference.”
- Ballet Austin Donor, Sean Henry

10 gifts of $75 provide one pair of pointe shoes for each woman in the Company.

A mother of a scholarship recipient recounts her son’s first experience of being cast in The Nutcracker.

“This fall, he was ecstatic that he was finally - ‘FINALLY, Mama!’ - old enough to audition for The Nutcracker. Watching him find his name on the cast list is a moment I will treasure forever. Never have I seen such an explosion of pure joy.”
- Academy parent

15 gifts of $100 provide a scholarship for a young child who dreams to dance.

It's been said that this 1948 classic has been responsible for the ballet lessons of more young girls than any other film.  The Alamo Drafthouse has partnered with Ballet Austin to present this unique opportunity to see the first public screening of Martin Scorsese's 4K digital restoration of THE RED SHOES. Executive chef Trish Eichelberger will be serving a four course themed meal with wine pairings during the film. Seats are very limited and it is expected to sell out quickly.
